One of the escapees is on direct trial... The second one is missing - Expected to be taken to the Central Prison
Alexandros Sarkisidis, one of the two persons who escaped from Paphos Police Detention Centre on February 4, was today referred to direct trial before the Paphos Criminal Court.
Alexandros Sarkisidis was handcuffed days ago and brought before a court today which ordered his detention for the burglary cases he was allegedly involved in until 3 April, while for the escape he will also remain in custody until 15 March.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Ernali Kozmiov, who escaped with Sarkisidis and has been wanted by the authorities ever since, remains missing.
Sarkidisisis is expected to be transferred to the central prison tomorrow after securing a negative molecular test for coronavirus
