The Ministry of Health announces that today, March 1, 2022:
1 death announced
Related to:
o Male, aged 82 years, who died on 1 March
Total number of deaths with final cause of COVID-19: 857.
146 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in ICU hospitals
31 in serious condition (ICU: 1 off ventilator/13 intubated, PICU: 17)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 58.22%
19 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
A total of 102,159 diagnostic tests were performed
1,986 new cases were identified (total cases 324,502).
Positivity rate in all tests 1.94%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
6 were performed.740 molecular tests

Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):
95,419 rapid antigen detection tests performed

Private initiative:
1.566 molecular tests were performed, 196 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 12.52%)
41,188 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1,052 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 2.55%)
54,231 rapid antigen detection tests were performed through Ministry of Health programs. 624 positive cases were detected.
Sampling points: 14,660 rapid detection tests; 392 positive cases detected (positivity rate 2.67%)

Primary education: 21.054 rapid antigen detection tests, 69 positive cases detected (0.33% positivity rate)
Secondary Education: 11,910 rapid detection tests, 72 positive cases detected (0.6% positivity rate)
Test-to-Stay: 3.893 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 40 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.03%)

Welfare homes: 1,084 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 6 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.55%)
Closed facilities: 175 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 2 new cases were identified (positivity rate 1.14%)
