The police are investigating a case of assault causing actual bodily harm against a 53-year-old man for the melee in Nicosia.
Specifically, at around 9.30 last night a tip-off was received about a fight between a number of persons in Nicosia.

As reported in a previous Cyprus Times report, members of the Police went to the scene where they located a number of minors and adults who were allegedly fighting with each other.
Police proceeded to arrest a person aged 53 for the offence of assault and causing actual bodily harm.
As a result of the incidents, a person aged 28 was injured,[/B] who visited Nicosia General Hospital where he was found to have a fractured head wound, while four other persons aged 14-16 were taken to the Nicosia General Hospital emergency room for examination.
The 53-year-old arrested man was charged in writing and released while the Omorphita Police Station continues the investigations.
