The Ministry of Health announces that today, February 24, 2022:

1 death announced
This relates to:
o Male, aged 86 years, who died on 23 February
Total number of deaths with final cause of COVID-19: 834.
167 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in hospitals
37 in serious condition (ICU: 1 off ventilator/15 intubated, PICU: 21)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 59.29%
23 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an ICU

Diagnostic tests:
A total of 110,229 diagnostic tests were performed
1,935 new cases were identified (total cases 315,341).
Positivity rate in all tests 1.76%

Total number of molecular tests (PCR):

Positivity rate 4.08%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):
103,144 rapid antigen detection tests performed
1.646 positive cases

Tracing:
376 molecular tests performed and 36 positive cases identified (positivity rate 9.57%)
745 rapid antigen detection tests performed and 59 positive cases identified (positivity rate 7.92%)
Private initiative:
1.935 molecular tests were performed, 203 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 10.49%)
47,076 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 1,023 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 2.17%)

56,068 rapid antigen detection tests were performed through the programs of the Ministry of Health

Primary education: 20.699 rapid antigen detection tests, 96 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0.46%)
Secondary education: 9.517 rapid detection tests detected 47 positive cases (positivity rate 0.49%)
Test-to-Stay: 4 were performed.414 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 38 positive cases were detected (0.86% positivity rate)
Special Schools: 666 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 6 positive cases were detected (0.9% positivity rate)

Other
Welfare homes: 1.058 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 8 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0.76%)
Closed facilities: 261 rapid antigen detection tests were performed, 3 new cases were detected (positivity rate 1.15%)
Government services: 1.045 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.19%)
