He avoided mentioning Vladimir Putin's name and stressed that his compatriots feel hatred for the Russians because "they do not have the strength to fight their dictator".
"Putin wanted to conquer us within three days at the most, enter Kiev, overthrow the government, have the Ukrainian people waiting for him with flowers and then we would accept that Crimea and Donetsk were theirs. It is losing a lot of tanks, we were helped by Americans and Europeans with weapons, we wanted more," Oleg Protasov said, among other things."
