The left lane of the Nicosia - Limassol motorway, near the Governor's Coast, is closed to traffic due to a traffic collision that occurred a short while ago.
Prior to the collision, which did not result in any injuries, bags of seeds had fallen from a lorry at the same spot, causing the road to become slippery.
Efforts are being made to clear the road surface so that the road can be opened to traffic as normal.
Traffic towards Limassol is being conducted from the right lane.
Drivers are advised to be particularly careful, drive at low speeds, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and comply with the instructions of the police.
