Heavy traffic in the centre of Nicosia

Due to a convoy heading towards Nicosia city centre, around 1.00 noon on Saturday, there is heavy traffic in Nicosia.

The convoy is heading towards Eleftherias Square, as part of a protest.

The Police recommend special attention to those travelling on the Nicosia road network, while vehicle drivers in particular are advised to drive their vehicles at a safe, low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and follow the instructions of police officers on duty.
