"You are not alone" shouted a group of about 30 people who were gathered outside the Supreme Court during the arrival of the former head of the Corruption Prosecutor's Office Eleni Touloupaki, while she responded with a salute.
Ms Touloupaki appeared today before the investigator of the Special Court on the responsibility of ministers in the Novartis case, Konstantina Alevizopoulou, to apologise, but requested and received a new second, deadline, for 16 March 2022.
Upon her departure again, Ms Touloupaki was applauded by the group of assembled.
The former head of the Corruption Prosecutor's Office faces charges of felony abuse of power and the misdemeanor offences of repeated breach of duty, repeated false certification, violation of judicial secrecy and violation of the Personal Data Protection Act.
