The State Health Services Organisation (SHSO), following a decision of the Council of Ministers, announces the resumption of non-emergency surgery in its hospitals from Monday, 28 February 2022.
Planning for the non-emergency surgeries that were postponed in the previous period is underway. Priority will be given to patients whose surgery was postponed due to a pandemic and those whose health condition has deteriorated.
Patients will be informed of the exact day and time of the surgeries by telephone by the directorates of the Agency's hospitals.
The provision of high quality patient-centred health care services to the entire population of Cyprus is a priority for the OCYPY.
