[CYPRUS TIMES] No breaches of the MoU decree found in Chloraka

Without detecting any violation of the decree of the Minister of Interior, coordinated police operations were carried out in the Community of Chloraka.

According to a Spokesperson of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters, members of the Paphos Police Department, the Aliens and Immigration Service and the MIA participated in checks at various houses, apartment complexes and traffic checks.

During the operation a total of 115 vehicles were stopped for inspection, 10 of them and 137 persons were searched and there were 13 complaints for various traffic offences.

During the investigations, 8 apartments in Chloraka were also searched without detecting anyone violating the decree of the Minister of Interior dated 3/12/2021, concerning the prohibition of settlement of international protection applicants within this community or anything objectionable.

Paphos Police are continuing their investigations.
