Nikos Hortaρέας spoke about his decision to leave astrology to become a priest and today to return to astrology. He spoke via Skype on Katerina Kainourgiou's show and explained what led him to leave the church and return to his great love of astrology.
"Where I was accepted, they knew me for many years and they saw that I was in the church all the time. They knew I finished seminary, regardless of the astrology I did. After a heartbreak I got so I made the decision to quit astrology. I got a little tired and the years went by and since I could go to the other side I went. I worked in many parishes and with great success. I became a priest and I jokingly said that I would like to be a despot! Of course I have officiated at weddings and made many confessions. I was ordained properly, lived in the Metropolis of Lagada and was there all day. But because I was there, my ordination certificate was never signed. Since we were together all day in the Metropolis, my paper and others were not signed. Suddenly the blessed man gets coronavirus, goes to the hospital and that's where it ends. So coming to Metropolis, my papers were not signed and the new despot reasonably said "I cannot sign a paper on which I did not ordain you. I cannot make you because you are already ordained." So in this case I have to go to court with the papers I have, the videos and photos of my ordination and services to get the paper. But I don't want it, I don't want to go into that process and wait three years from now," the renowned astrologer said.
