Vacancies in the Civil Service have just been announced.
The announcement indicates the qualifications required to apply for a job.
1. Post of First Geological Officer, Geological Survey Department
According to the notification No. 1174 published in the Official Gazette dated 11.11.2022, a vacant permanent post of First Geological Officer, Geological Survey Department has been advertised for filling up.
Applications can only be submitted online through the website of the Public Service Commission (www.psc.gov.cy) or via the website (www.gov.cy) in the "Employment and Insurance-> Applications-> Appointment or Promotion in the Public Service" section until Friday, 2 December 2022 at 14:00.
In order to proceed with the completion of the online application, the applicant must be a registered user of the Government Portal gov.cy (www.gov.cy). Identification of applicants at a Citizen Service Centre or other authorised centre is not necessary.
The applicant selects the position for which he/she is interested and fills in the application fields. All mandatory fields must be completed for the application to be successful.
Approved Salary Scale: A14(ii): €57,077, 59,535, 61,993, 64,451, 66,909, 69,367, 71,825, 74,283, 76,741. Any general increases approved by legislation are added to the payroll. In addition, marginal allowance shall be paid as per the rate approved by the Government from time to time.

2. Post of Director, Labour Inspection Department
According to the notification number 1175 published in the Official Gazette dated 11.11.2022, the vacant permanent post of Director, Labour Inspection Department has been advertised for filling up.
Applications can only be submitted online through the website of the Public Service Commission (www.psc.gov.cy) or via the website (www.gov.cy) in the "Employment and Insurance-> Applications-> Appointment or Promotion in the Public Service" section until Friday, 2 December 2022 at 14:00.
