New meeting between Kiev and Moscow in two days The second round of negotiations will take place on the Belarusian-Polish border

A second round of Russia-Ukraine negotiations in two days is announced by Russian media, shortly after the two delegations concluded their contacts.

The two sides are expected to return home, but it was agreed to sit down at the negotiating table again in the coming days, with Russian network Russian Today quoting a source as saying that the meeting will take place in two days.

The second round of negotiations will take place on the Belarusian-Polish border.

Difficult but...

In this first phase, Russia and Ukraine identified a number of priority issues to be resolved and "outlined" specific decisions.

"In order to give an opportunity to implement these decisions, the representatives are leaving for their capitals for consultations" explained the head of Ukraine's presidential office, Mikhail Podolyak, however, speaking of difficult talks and describing the Russian side as biased.

Negotiations are difficult. However, without any obligatory ultimatums already. Unfortunately, the Russian side is still extremely biased regarding the destructive processes it launched.

At the same time, as the head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said, "we have identified issues on which we can expect agreement".

"The most important thing is that (we) agreed to continue the negotiation process and the next meeting will take place in the next few days at the Polish-Belarusian border. There is such an agreement," he added, explaining that before the next talks, each delegation will discuss the negotiating positions with its country's leadership.
