New evidence for the "thriller of Patras"
The death of the three little girls in Patras has created questions that are expected to be answered in the immediate future as the testimonies of doctors and forensic doctors who have dealt with the case begin this week.
"Key" in the case are the results of the forensic examination of little Georgina, which are expected to shed light on the mystery of her death.
A new revelation about the case was made by the police editor of the newspaper "Ta Nea" and "Vima", Vassilis Lambropoulos.
As he told the MEGA newscast, there are online recordings of the defibrillator and the pacemaker that were placed on little Georgina in the hospital, to see if she has cardiac arrhythmias that explain the cardiac arrests.
These recordings showed no problems and the pacemaker that had been inserted had not been activated. However, according to reliable information it was found that the pacemaker was activated for a few minutes before the girl breathed her last breath.
According to the doctors, the girl developed bradycardia after myocardial collapse. The damage was such that the doctors state that it cannot be caused by pathological causes but only by external intervention.
This revelation will be taken into consideration by the investigating authorities as it is a crucial clue that can explain the girl's death.
