New incidents took place yesterday at the Pafos District Welfare Office.
According to CyprusTime[/B]s, two Syrians who were waiting to be served early yesterday afternoon, for an as yet unknown reason, argued with each other and started beating each other. [/B]
At one point one of them even attempted to retrieve a knife. His intentions were noticed by Africans who were also waiting to be served and disarmed him.
Incidents of violence in this department are very frequent with foreigners sometimes also lashing out at officials, while damaging office equipment.
