In the photos, Willow, with her gray and white coloring, long mustaches and big green eyes, can be seen lying on a window sill or exploring and playing in the hallways of the White House.
The First Lady's press office explained that the now "First Cat" "very much impressed" Jill Biden when she jumped on the podium and interrupted a speech she was giving in Pennsylvania (northeast) as part of Joe Biden's 2020 campaign.
The university professor and the cat, born on a farm, immediately bonded in friendship, with the "blessings" of the farm owner, the White House explained. The cat is "settling into the White House along with her favorite toys, treats and a large space to sniff and explore," Jill Biden's press secretary said.
However, there was no comment on the reception First Cat received from First Dog, the German shepherd Komander, who has been playing in the White House gardens for the past few weeks.
