The number of Ukrainian refugees [/B]arriving in Cyprus today has exceeded 3,000,[/B] since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.
The President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, during his presence in Versailles and the dinner of EU leaders, referring to the refugee wave from Ukraine, he said that more than three thousand Ukrainian refugees have already arrived and are being hosted in Cyprus, noting that Cyprus also supports all efforts to ensure continued access for humanitarian aid missions.
In this context and as a result of the direct mobilisation of the Cypriot people, the President said, Cyprus sent symbolic financial assistance to Kiev last Tuesday, we had sent the first package of humanitarian aid, which includes medical supplies, food and equipment related to civil protection.
