The building programme of the Ministry of Education, he continued, "aims to make schools better, to adapt them to modern standards, and of course this is evidenced by the intervention here at the 2nd Technical School of Limassol. He added that this is an absolutely necessary upgrade of the school's anti-seismic preparedness, as well as the adaptation of the school premises for the operation of a modern educational institution.
The Education Minister underlined the "close cooperation of the technical education directorate, the technical services, but also of the school's directorate and teachers", stressing that this upgrade "is doubly important, because it is part of a special effort made by the Ministry to strengthen the technical education of the school".
