Before the Mixed Jury Court starts today the first trial for rape reported in the context of the publication of data from victims of sexual abuse, or meToo, which began a year ago with the first complainant Olympic champion Sofia Bekatorou, who will testify at the trial.
The 39-year-old sailing coach who is accused of raping his underage athlete 10 years ago will take the stand.[/B] The defendant is facing charges of consensual rape , indecent assault and seduction against the 11-year-old , then , sailing athlete and up to the age of 14.
The temporarily detained coach has confessed that he had sexual relations with the minor girl.
The 21-year-old now suffering with the support and support of Ms. Bekatorou had denounced a year ago to the prosecutor what she experienced at the hands of her coach, confirming what the Olympic champion had already testified to the prosecution authorities about her case.

According to the prosecutor's proposal for the referral to court of the coach , the accused used sexual and psychological violence to the minor in order not to disclose to her parents the rape. The prosecutor even stresses that the 39-year-old unashamedly confessed that he had consummated sexual relations with his underage athlete. He took advantage of her inexperience and her parents' trust in him.
