Members of the K.S. of Kissonerga welcome by majority recommendation of Ept. The members of the Kissonerga K.S. welcome the majority recommendation of the Parliamentary Committee of Interior for the creation of the Municipality of Akamas, which will include the community of Kissonerga.[/P]
In their statement the members of the Kissonerga Community Council state that Kissonerga is the natural continuation of the Akamas peninsula, which can be better and more effectively protected in the institutional framework of the Municipalities Law.
They also call on the parliamentary parties and the plenary of the Parliament to vote in favour of the proposal of the competent committee for the implementation of this ambitious vision of the region, which aims, as they note, to provide the best possible quality of services to citizens, at the lowest possible cost, thus ensuring the improvement of the quality of life in our land, which should be a common goal for all.
The statement is co-signed by the members of the Kissonerga C.C., Christos Louka, Andreas Antoniou, Charalambos Themistocleous, Nikos Papadopoulos, Savvas Christodoulou, Andreas Christodoulou, Savvas Manolis, and Xenios Xenophontos, as well as the local committees of AKEL, DIKO and EDEK.
