Satellite images taken this morning captured extensive damage to civilian infrastructure in and around besieged Mariupol in southern Ukraine, according to U.S. private company Maxar Technologies.
The company said it recorded extensive damage to homes, apartment buildings, grocery stores and shopping malls.
The images were collected before a reported bombing of a children's hospital in the city with at least 17 people injured, Maxar said.

Russian forces regrouping in Kharkiv
Russian forces appeared to be regrouping near the eastern city of Kharkiv, the city's mayor Igor Terekhov said today, describing the situation as very tense.
Speaking on live television, Terekhov said shelling of the city is ongoing.
