Facts report and investigation into the escape of a detainee from a Police Station in Nicosia was requested by the Chief of Police in his instructions, Stelios Papatheodorou.
As reported in a previous report by the Cyprus Times, the 30-year-old detained at Omorphitas Police Station allegedly broke a window and escaped.

A major operation by the police is underway in the surrounding area to locate him.
It is recalled that the 30-year-old Greek Cypriot was in custody for a case of malicious damage, disorderly conduct and other offences.
