Powerful explosions are taking place, since the early hours of Friday (25/2) in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. Hours after the 27 European Union heads of state decided to impose an unprecedented package of sanctions against Moscow over the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the "devastating sanctions" announced by US President Joe Biden, the Russians continue to hammer the country.
Russian forces are a breath away from the city, which they have reportedly surrounded in their attempt to take it.
