The spokesman of the Fire Service was obviously indignant, about incidents of our fellow citizens who disobey the warnings and despite the severe weather conditions that prevail, proceed to reckless actions.
"Listen at last to our warnings! It's not cool", Andreas Kettis said, posting a photo from the river Tremithos where a young man was swept away with his vehicle in his attempt to cross it.[/B]
"In the young man's attempt to cross it, his vehicle was swept away by rainwater over a distance of 300 metres. Thankfully all is well! Well done to his fellow firefighters. Larnaca station for the rescue," the spokesman said.
