"They have said a lot, we don't talk at all. We stay in our pain" says Manos Daskalakis while the preliminary investigation into the unexplained deaths of the three girls is underway
While the preliminary investigation ordered by the Patras prosecutor's office into the unexplained deaths of the three little girls is underway, the father of the Daskalakis family breaks out.
"Leave us in our pain. We don't want to say anything else. We mourn three girls, most recently our Georgina. We are trying to stand on our feet..."!", said the girls' father, singer and footballer Manos Daskalakis.
The "scenarios" circulating have reached the ears of the family. "They have said a lot, we are not talking at all. We stay in our pain" says Mr. Daskalakis.
The file with the evidence will be completed gradually and along with the result of histological and toxicological tests will be sent to the competent prosecutor to determine what happened and finally all three girls left life so quickly, but also the undetermined, as yet, cause of death of 9-year-old Georgina about 10 days ago.
According to Athens coroner Sotiris Bouzianis, who conducted the autopsy, he was unable to determine the reason for the girl's cardiac arrest.
The family said goodbye to Georgina last Thursday, while father Manos Daskalakis had filed a lawsuit for the death of his other daughter Malena and the cause of death (liver failure).
At the same time, the mother Roula Pispirigou has indulged, as she told the newspaper "Peloponnisos", in... chasing away journalists of Athenian channels from her house.
In terms of investigations, according to the forensic experts, only toxicological tests can show something. "I estimate that the histological tests will be clean," Mr. Bouzianis tells the newspaper "Peloponnisos".
On the other hand, the doctors insist that they cannot believe how Georgina "left".
Malena's case had not been dealt with much due to the fact that the girl suffered from leukemia. The only thing that was surprising was that "liver failure" appeared as the cause of death in the coroner's report, which... is not justified as a cause of death. That is why Manos Daskalakis filed a lawsuit in Patras, which, however, has not been adjudicated.
Iris "passed away" due to venous sinus node agenesis, which she had from birth. She died in her sleep. "Her death would have come at some point, but we are surprised that she "passed away" so early. At 6 months," says a coroner. So the big question mark is Georgina, about whom the director of the ICU Andreas Eliades has also expressed questions.
"We had secured the child. He had a defibrillator we did not expect such a development," says the doctor. "My child died in Paidon and not in Patras. Only the doctors of Paidon in Athens know what happened" is the answer of mother Roula Pispirigou to the doctors of Patras.
The result of the histological and toxicological tests will be out in a few days. And then many of the... unanswered questions will be answered!
