Putin-Zelensky meeting will be held only to seal a deal, Lavrov said High-precision missiles hit a warehouse in Sarny, Rivne region, destroying a missile storage facility, the Russians announced

Russia said today that there are no obstacles to a meeting between President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zhelensky, but such a meeting would take place only to seal a specific agreement.

"There are no obstacles to organizing such a meeting as long as it will not be held just to have a meeting; it should seal specific agreements which the two delegations are currently working on," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters.

Lavrov said the delegations were meeting by video conference.

Meanwhile, Russian news agencies reported today that Russian armed forces struck a military depot in the Rivne region of western Ukraine yesterday, Wednesday.

High-precision missiles hit a warehouse in Sharny, Rivne region, destroying missile and ammunition storage facilities, the ministry said.

Reuters notes that it was unable to verify the information from an independent source.
