Russia has lost all illusions about whether it can rely on the West and Moscow will never accept a view of the world dominated by a US that wants to act as a global sheriff, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today.
Describing Russia as a small player in the global media war, Lavrov said that this field is dominated by the US, Britain and the Europeans, adding that there is no independent Western media.
At the same time, he denied a BILD report that the plane carrying him to China turned back to Russia halfway.
Our goal is to remove any threat to Russia from Ukrainian territory, Lavrov said, referring to the Russian invasion.
