The "Smile of the Child" issued a statement about the murder of the 7-year-old by his mother and her former partner in Kypseli.

-On May 17, 2018, the following day, the director of the school where the sister of the murdered child was attending called the SOS Hotline 1056 and the police were immediately informed, as the child had gone to school with bruises. Following a prosecutor's order, she was taken to the hospital with her mother and volunteers from the Agency were with her every minute for her care and comfort. However, the mother denied that her partner was abusing the child.

-On 21 May 2018, psychological support for the child was provided by the educational community in response to the bruising incident at school.

-On 27 June 2018, "The Smile of the Child" received a request for shelter for the minor. The sister of the murdered child is currently in foster care. From the child psychiatric assessment conducted, it appears that the child found dead had been living with his father in Poland since November 2016.
