In a written statement by the Municipality of Larnaca, it is stated that "the flying of kites in the Larnaca Airport area and specifically in the aircraft approach area such as the areas of Aliki - Tekke, Akti Mackenzie, Kition and Perivolia should be avoided on Clean Monday, because it may cause danger to flights".
The Municipality of Larnaca "looks forward to the public's understanding and cooperation in order to avoid unwanted situations."
