Order from the Belgian Food Safety Authority on Kinder chocolate eggs Suspension of the factory's operating licence
The Belgian Food Safety Authority (AFSCA) announced today, Friday 08.04.04.2022, that it has ordered to stop the production of the Kinder chocolate factory, where a salmonella contamination[/B] was detected![/B]
The same agency deplored "the incomplete information" provided by Italian confectionery giant Ferrero.
"After investigations and following the findings of the last few hours that the information provided by Ferrero is incomplete, the Service is today proceeding to withdraw the authorisation to operate[/B] Ferrero's production plant in Arlon."
This is according to a statement issued by the AFSCA, which also orders the recall of all Kinder products manufactured by this factory.
