Kiev does not see a Russian attack in the next two days, but the threat is real. "I want to remind our partners that the threat has been there since 2013." said the defense minister
Ukraine's intelligence services do not see any Russian "strike forces"[/B] on the border, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said in an interview with ICTV.
"To date, our services have not observed any strike units, but that does not mean that (the Russians) cannot deploy them when they want, because the danger still exists," Reznikov said. According to the minister, it may take one to two weeks for such units to be deployed, "depending on Russian plans."
Since there are no such "strike forces" of the Russian military in any city around Ukraine, it is not correct to say that there may be an "attack" in the next few days, "tomorrow or the day after tomorrow," he added.
"But this does not mean that the risk is low and it does not mean that there is no threat."
