Further talks between Russia and Ukraine could take place next week, according to a senior adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"As soon as mutually contradictory formats are worked out, a new meeting, i.e. the fourth round of negotiations, will be scheduled. They could start tomorrow, the day after tomorrow," Zelensky's adviser told Belarus' state news agency on Sunday.
In fact, Mikhail Podolyak pointed out that the place and framework of the new negotiations with Russia are being finalized.
Various proposals on the table
"There are various proposals on the negotiating table now. In particular, there are several proposals, including the military settlement. A formula should be found for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of troops," he said."
"These issues have been discussed, now we are trying to put these issues in a legal framework," Podolyak said.
On Saturday, Podolyak posted an update on the Russia-Ukraine talks on Twitter.
"Negotiations with the RF [RUSSIAN FEDERATION] delegation are continuing. Special working subgroups have been created," he wrote, concluding.
"Ukraine's positions are determined by the previous decrees."
