The perpetrators had five contacts in the first 30 hours of the abduction with the victim's brother but have since gone silent.
According to SKAI, the perpetrators are speaking using encrypted conversations to avoid leaving clues that would lead to their whereabouts.
The perpetrators' ransom demands have now dropped, as they are reportedly asking for 1 million euros, instead of 2.
What his friend who heard the perpetrators testified
At the same time, the woman who was talking with the victim at the time of the kidnapping, and even with a video call, tried to shed some light on the case with her testimony.
As she says, she heard the victim and the shouting as she had left the mobile phone next to him and stresses that the perpetrators were speaking in clear Greek.
The victim was trying to delay the perpetrators in the conversation he had with them but one of them realized it and immediately turned off the mobile phone.
