The local community of Karpathos is shocked by the suicide of a 59-year-old father who was bullied by his neighbours when he saw his son in a pink video with another man.

They are looking for the person who filmed and leaked the video that led the 59-year-old to commit suicide. According to information from protothema.gr, it is a person who works in a public service of the island and even distinguishes himself in the video.

However, the reasons why the man in question leaked the video to third parties who, in turn, made sure that the material reached the 59-year-old's "friends" and himself.

Information indicates that the 59-year-old's son allegedly had personal differences with some women on the island who may have used the intermediary to obtain the material, which they made sure reached the mobile phones of persons from the 59-year-old's environment.

He could not stand the comments of his fellow villagers

At noon on Tuesday, the 59-year-old went to the stable he had just outside his house with a shotgun. He loaded it, put it to his head and pulled the trigger, ending his life.
