Karolos Papoulias was deeply aware of the Cyprus problem and worked vigorously for its resolution, noted Speaker of the Parliament Anita Demetriou, signing the electronic book of condolences on the death of Karolos Papoulias.
As announced by the Parliament, Mrs. Demetriou added that Karolos Papoulias acted unitedly, from all positions of responsibility he held, with the sole focus on the good of Hellenism and expressed her sincere condolences, as well as those of all Members of the House of Representatives to the Greek state, the family and relatives of Karolos Papoulias.
