The famed singer and Grammy winner reportedly asked a judge in Los Angeles to dismiss the case, according to Rolling Stone.

Recall, Bieber sued the two girls for $20 million-$10 million each-in June 2020, shortly after they publicly claimed on Twitter that Bieber engaged in abusive behavior.

The now 28-year-old pop singer had flatly denied their allegations, stating in court documents that he had "incontrovertible evidence" to prove the accusations were "outrageous, fabricated lies."

Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don't take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement.

He even noted in his lawsuit that the two women were likely working together to damage his reputation or that he could possibly be a person who manages multiple Twitter accounts. At the same time, he also provided evidence that at the time the attack allegedly took place, he was not staying at the Four Seasons, but at an Airbnb with his then-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

The Pics I showed of me and Selena march 9 in Austin should make it clear that we were together that night and went from the venue to our Airbnb and never went to the four seasons. This is our airbnb receipt where we crashed with our friends pic.twitter.com/4ZDIqjeCIQ

The first complainant, made a controversial tweet that caused Bieber's intense annoyance, stating that she met the pop star at a music event in Austin about six years ago. According to her, on March 9, 2014, after a surprise performance at an event, Bieber invited her and her friends to the Four Seasons Hotel. There, according to her, he "stalked" her in a room and attacked her.

The second girl, who accused him, claimed he attacked her in New York in March 2015 when she was in town for the Met Gala.

Furthermore I stayed with Selena and our friends at an airbnb on the 9th and on the 10th stayed at a Westin because our hotel reservation at LÀ Quinta and not the four seasons was messed up. Here are the receipts for the hotel on the 10th pic.twitter.com/hLNHnvJ6XS
