The Municipality of Polis Chrysochous is conducting a sampling to find a compatible bone marrow donor for little Luke Stavrou this coming Sunday.
According to an announcement, the Municipality of Polos Chrysochous Lukas is 8 years old and is battling leukemia for the second time. He is in immediate need of a compatible bone marrow donor for a bone marrow transplant.
The procedure, the announcement adds, is easy, quick and painless and is done by taking an oral swab. Donors can be 18-45 years old, with no medical problems.
The sampling, the announcement continues, will take place on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the Christos Chrysanthos Sampling Center between the hours of 11 a.m.- 3 μ.μ.
