The authorities are stepping up checks on fan clubs that do not have the required operating license, following the murder of Alkis Kabanos in Thessaloniki by PAOK fans.
In the last 24 hours, police raided fan clubs in the city of Ioannina in the presence of a judicial officer. In three different cases, the police made three arrests and sealed the premises while the case files will be sent to the public prosecutor.
In the context of the investigations, which were carried out in the presence of a judicial officer, residents were arrested in all cases, who were found to operate the above premises without the required license from the competent authority.
According to information from epiruspost.gr the fan clubs that were sealed belong to Panathinaikos, AEK and one to PAS Giannina.
Police checks are expected to be meticulous and in the next period in similar places either operating legally or without the required permits.
