Two persons were detained for the bakery robbery case in Paphos
According to the Press Spokesman and Head of Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, in the case of yesterday's robbery committed in a bakery, testimony against two persons against whom arrest warrants were issued and they were wanted.
The Paphos Police proceeded to arrest them in the afternoon.
According to Mr. Nicolaou and the complaint made to the police, around 3 o'clock yesterday morning, two unknown persons wearing dark clothes with black hoods entered a bakery in Paphos and, under the threat of wooden clubs, took a sum of money of 350 euros from the cashier.
Subsequently, the two alleged perpetrators fled on foot. Members of the Paphos CID visited the scene which they placed under guard. They also collected various pieces of evidence in order to identify the perpetrators.
Inside the premises at the above time, there was a 60-year-old employee.
The Paphos CID continues its investigations.
