Investigators in the case have testimony that on a particular day, after the arrest of the 32-year-old perpetrator and while the 44-year-old was at a construction site under construction in the St. Athanasius area with the 30-year-old man in custody and other persons, he received a phone call. Subsequently, he warned the bystanders that the police were about to arrive at the scene and went to the perpetrator's truck, took a shotgun from inside and placed it in another vehicle. According to the 30-year-old, it was a gun belonging to the confessed killer.
As reported in a previous article of the Cyprus Times, the investigators have been convinced for some days that other persons are involved in the case, and the circle of arrests cannot be ruled out.
