Shocking revelations about the perpetrator of the murders of the family in Andravida.
The 60-year-old fell into the hands of the authorities on Friday night and, according to police, confessed that he was the one who killed the parents and two of their three children.
A cruel and peculiar man, as described by local residents, who speak of a man who very often caused problems with his extreme behavior in Andravida and beyond.
The killer of the two children and their parents seems to have planned the crime. He had prepared the pits, in an area of Traganos Ilia, in order to carry the bodies of his victims and bury them there.
It is recalled that the perpetrator, after the murders, carried the bodies of the couple and a child to the yard of the house, where he loaded them into a trailer in order to eliminate their traces, but he did not have time to complete his sick plan, since something seems to have frightened him - probably the 12-year-old child of the family, who escaped because he was not in the house - and fled.
Officers are now focusing their investigation on this field. A police source stressed to newsit.gr, that a thorough check will be made to exclude any possibility that a human body is buried in the spot.
In the past, the 60-year-old did not hesitate to shoot even for trivial reasons. In fact, as it became known, the 60-year-old had previously shot a neighbour for no real reason. For now, however, he denies that he has committed another murder.
Meanwhile, police officers inside the house where he was staying found an empty safe and are trying to determine where the money he was hiding went. Attention will be paid to the 60-year-old's activities to shed light on the sources of his income.
The 60-year-old is himself the father of two children. His son is in uniform and his daughter is a student at the University of Peloponnese. They both live with their mothers. The man had two divorces and lived alone in a villa in Andravida.
According to local media, in the past he was involved in gambling and had managed to win significant amounts of money. In his house, over 500 square meters, there were cameras for security reasons.

On MEGA and the show "Smile again!" spoke with the lawyer of the victims' family, Yiann Panagopoulou: "I believe that because it is a crime of unprecedented brutality, I believe that after the arrest of the confessed perpetrator, a lot will be heard. Unfortunately, we end up discussing such crimes after the act, since the violence becomes punishable," she said.
"This is a massacre, an absolute horror. He choked two babies with his hands. This, the mind of man cannot bear it. The authorities ought to investigate anonymous complaints. If they do not discern that there is criminal behavior externalized, their hands are tied."
"It is a matter of education. Such crimes are phenomena of social pathogenicity. We all have responsibilities, we all turn a deaf ear because evil has not knocked on our door. But we can all become victims of such behaviour. The couple, according to information that has come to me, were a beloved couple, they gave no rights, nothing foreshadowed this savage murder," she added.
