Novak Djokovic was greeted in the city by hundreds of citizens and it is typical that he walked among them without a mask while all protection measures for coronavirus had gone out the window.

Nole visited the city's town hall, its metropolis and other places where he was received as a hero. He was joined by his father and mother who were bulging with pride.

The Serb, who was deported from Australia for not being vaccinated, was unable to play in the Australian Open. He is taking a long break from training and will return to action in mid-February in Dubai.
