Ο Βασιλιάς της Ιορδανίας Αμπντάλλα Β΄ θα πραγματοποιήσει σήμερα επίσημη επίσκεψη στην Κύπρο, κατά τη διάρκεια της οποίας θα έχει συνομιλίες με τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας, Νίκο Αναστασιάδη.
Ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας θα υποδεχθεί τον Βασιλιά της Ιορδανίας σήμερα το απόγευμα, στο Προεδρικό Μέγαρο, και θα ακολουθήσει κατ΄ιδίαν συνάντησή τους.

Then President Anastasiades and King Abdullah will attend a facilitated talks between the delegations of the two countries over dinner.
During the talks, President Anastasiades will provide an update on developments in the Cyprus issue and will discuss, inter alia, bilateral relations, actions to address the impact of climate change and the President's initiative for the Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East region, efforts to address the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic and regional developments.
As part of their private meeting, the President of the Republic will present the King of Jordan with the Grand Medal of the Order of Macarius III and King Abdullah II will present the President with his country's highest honorary distinction.
In addition, on the sidelines of the meeting between President Anastasiades and the King of Jordan, an Agreement between the two countries on the avoidance of double taxation, an Agreement on the extradition of fugitives and a Memorandum of Development Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and Jordan will be signed at the Presidential Palace by the relevant Ministers.
