Young man from Nepal, who was found to be illegally staying on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, driving under the influence of alcohol and without holding a driving licence.
According to information, the vehicle driven by the young man was stopped for control last night by members of the Paphos traffic police. He was subjected to an alcohol test in which it was found that he had consumed a large amount of alcohol before taking hold of the steering wheel and had also violated the speed limit on this road.
A further investigation also found that he did not have a driving licence and an insurance certificate.
Nepalese was arrested and will be deported.
