How the Chechens sent to kill Zelensky were exterminated "We will not surrender to anyone, not even our president, nor our country."

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexei Danilov said today that the members of the elite group of Chechens were exterminated, who had been sent to assassinate Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported.

"The special operation which Kadyrov's Chechens (Chechen President - ed.) had to carry out was known to us. We received information from FSB representatives who do not want to participate in this bloody war. We immediately eliminated that group of Kadyrov, which was sent specifically to assassinate our president," Danilov said.

Danilov said that this select group was divided into two groups. "We were watching them. One was directly eliminated in Gostomel and the other, so to speak, is in our sights."

"We will not surrender to anyone, neither our president , nor our country. This is our land, get out of here," Danilov warned.
