"Golden" home burglary in Limassol - Victim 70-year-old woman in Mouttayaka - She was inside her home

Three hours of absence from her home was enough for the perpetrator or perpetrators to rip off 70-year-old woman in Limassol.

Specifically, it was reported around ten thirty on Friday night by a 70-year-old woman that between the hours of 1900-22:00 and while she was at her home in the area of Mouttayaka it was broken into by unknown person(s).

Following the complaint, the officer and members of the Limassol CID visited the scene and conducted on-site investigations. It was then established that the offender or offenders entered and exited the house through a window which was broken with a sharp object.

From the house 12,500 euros in cash and jewellery/jewellery worth approximately 31000 euros were stolen.

Evidence was taken from the scene for scientific examination.
