The regulations on the service plans for a number of managerial and senior positions in the public service were examined today by the Subcommittee of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs of the Parliament, in the presence of representatives of the Department of Public Administration and Personnel of the Ministry of Finance.
The regulations relate to the posts of Estate Officer A and Estate Officer B, Assistant Accountant, Executive Director of the Gaming Authority and Casino Supervision and Senior Information Technology Officer of the Department of Information Services. The purpose was to either draw up or amend service plans in accordance with current legislation.
According to a statement, the Sub-Committee decided to recommend to the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs to forward the regulations to the House of Assembly, after taking a position on them at its next meeting.
