As a spokesman for the Police Headquarters Communication Branch told CNA, 644 checks were carried out in Nicosia, in the framework of which 11 citizens and 2 establishments were reported, while in Limassol 182 checks were carried out, which resulted in 4 complaints from citizens and 4 establishments.
In Larnaca 492 checks were carried out and 3 citizens and 1 business were reported, in Paphos 127 checks were carried out, which resulted in 2 complaints from citizens and 1 business, in Famagusta 323 checks were carried out without a complaint, while in Morphou 194 checks were carried out, also without a complaint.
Also, nationwide, the traffic police carried out 187 checks, without a complaint.
Of the complaints against establishments, one concerned a establishment in Larnaca to which a fine of 1,500 euros was issued out of court because the manager was working while positive for Covid-19.
