Members of the Limassol OPE, during a coordinated operation held yesterday, intercepted around 4.30pm, a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old man in Limassol.
During a check of the 58-year-old man's vehicle, the following untaxed products were found and seized as evidence: 120 packets of tobacco, 80 packets of cigarettes and 2.5 kilos of hookah tobacco. In the possession of the 58-year-old, the sum of 1,805 euros was also found.
The 58-year-old was arrested for an offence of his own accord, while the further investigation of the case was undertaken by the Customs Department.
