Harris Georgiades' initiative against the background of the dramatic developments in Ukraine.

As Chairman of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee of the Parliament, Harris Georgiades met today with the Ambassador of Ukraine, to whom he expressed full support in the difficult times his country is experiencing. The Deputy President of DISY and MP for Nicosia conveyed to the Ambassador the position that Russian actions are reprehensible, noting that the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states must be respected.

For his part, Ruslan Nimchynsky, explained the situation in his country at the current time and the risks involved, while thanking Mr Georgiades for his support.
